The process of discernment begins by contacting our Vocation Director, Fr. Daniel Bowen, O. de M.  Upon making this initial contact, the director will call or correspond with you about your personal history and how God is calling you to serve him as a Mercedarian friar.  He may also invite you to make a visit to one of our local communities, or for a Come and See weekend in Columbus.  This initial visit will be followed up with additional visits to the community prior to application.
